Well I did offer Mark some bratwurst, but he didn't reply. Maybe I should have offered him some hagis instead? Which reminds me of my very favorite thread on this message board...I think I shall go and top it.

I don't know if I like that image. It doesn't look like the shadowy blue-black elf that we've seen so far in Ultimate. The coloring is too light. Looks like Raney's work too. I'm just not a Raney fan. Oh well...

Hey I kinda like that pic! It sort of looks like someones shining a spotlight or somthing on Ultimate Kurt. Note that about half of him appears to still be in shadow and closer to the blueish/black color were familiar with. Maybe that's why his eyes and mouth arent glowing as well? (Kinda like that 'cause it makes it easier to read his facial expressions!)
I'm not a big Raney fan but I have to admit that he does have his moments. He's no Kubert of course, but I still expect the art for this ish to be O.K.

And they actually wrote an article on the Mark Millar Candy Campaign?! WoW, that things gotten HUUUUGE. BERRY of WizWorld fame started that, and now look at it! Hundreds of Boxes? Sheesh! Looks like SUGAH's old sparring partner's going to get her 15 minutes of fame!

That does look a little light in coloring for Ultimate 'Crawler. And he is fangless. And, to my knowledge, his teeth aren't yellow, just the brimstone smoke emanating from -ahem- every orfice is. (That description always perplexed me, but I can't remember where I read it.) That candy campaign would have been an effort more suitable for a better character. (No offense to any Gambit fans, actually I don't entirely hate him, I just think he's a one-dimensional character, and his powers aren't that interesting) LOL! Bratwurst! What kind of candy do Ze Gerhmanz eat? (I work for a German woman, so I can do a decent accent if it's required) More Kurt! I don't mind if he'll only speak German, but let him speak! Give him more pannels! It was very cool that he took out the leader (Cyke) in the last issue, but he only had one page. Enough Rogue! Her limited series is out now. She has enough exposure. We want more Kurt! Plus I REEEEEEEEEEALY like him shirtless in those cargo pants. (Mmmmmmmm!) They went through the trouble of creating this cool variation of a terrific character, the least that they could do is actually USE him a little more. It should be Kurt in those two issues, not Remy! (You're only in there because of confectionary bribes, LeBeau!)

I agree, Spatz! That isn't ult-crawler - but well, I remember I said many harsh things about the ult-crawler before I actually read it, so I'll shut up for a while.
